Actually, I wanted to blog about my everyday life but was too lazy to start :( So I just decided to continue on my Bali post hahaha..

Day 3 was our hiking day! I should have paid more attention to the itinerary so I could have trained a bit for all the physical activities T.T It's like paying money for PT + my own torture LOL.. Guess the exercising-passion in my team never fade :p I buried mine 50 feet down the ground long time ago already HAHAH 

So... the whole point of the hike was to catch the sunrise on Mount Batur! We had to wake up at 2am and take a 2hr car journey to the hiking meeting point. Did I mention that the driving skills in Bali are level 90000?! They can navigate so well on rough,cram,narrow roads!! Just thinking about it make me feel ashamed about my driving skills (which is not bad okay) hahaha.. 

After a short briefing, we started to climb woohoo!! Initially it was still quite chillax as it was on flat grassy ground. Then the road turned steep and rocky.. T.T My legs who have enjoyed getting fatter for 8 months were protesting like mad ahahaha.. I was legit thanking god every time they announced there's a rest point in front hurrr.. Also grateful to Mong who stayed behind with me to encourage me to go on :) :) There were a few times when I was like " F this shit.. I will just stand here to see the sunrise.. You guys can climb to the summit, I'll just stay here T.T " I was really fine with stopping there and not seeing the sunrise though haha!!

HOWEVER, I OBVIOUSLY PERSEVERED AND REACHED THE TOP LIKE A TRUE CANOEIST because they wouldn't let me stay at the middle anyway

The top of the summit was 1717 m above sea level and it is also an active volcano!! NO JOKE MAN!

I was very pleasantly surprised I made it *tears of joy and sweat* 

Honestly.............. I couldn't care less about seeing the sunrise ahahahaha.. Felt cooler (THIS IS LIKE A PUN OMG I'M SO HIPPIE) being in the midst of clouds and I can tell everyone I climbed a volcano yeah? hehehehe ^^ 

There's a hut on the summit where we ate breakfast. They also offered us sprite and coke (which we need to pay afterwards -.- sneaky strategy)! Since I'm so not health-conscious, I thought it was really refreshing after a tough climb to drink something cold and planned to drink finish LOL. But my team mates were saying it's not healthy and it will be wasting the effort to climb up, etc so I got guilty and didn't finish it hahaha sobs..

I think that's all about our climb?? The descending part was really fun though hehe! Oh ya anyway I definitely ached more than my fit team mates LOL.. When we got back to the villa, I COULDN'T EVEN MOVE A CM OF MY LEG WITHOUT IT ACHING!! Not exaggerating man.. And I stayed on the second floor :'(  Here's to a fitter Shu ying *cheers*
